AWT has an enormously sophisticated (and highly problematic) font substitution
mechanism, so it's not something we can just emulate.
What we're missing is not the ability to map fonts, but the ability to handle
TTF in PDFBox's internal workings which are expecting CFF.
But we can definitely add {{/opt/adobe}} to PDFBox's list of search paths on
Linux.
