I'm not sure DirectExecutorService will work with the HTable's write and read
model. Reads are executed without the thread pool. Multi-gets and puts are
executed from the thread pool. Using DirectExecutorService will severely limit
the throughput since there won't be any parallelism between region servers.
I would recommend that Phoenix have it's own thread pool(s) at the Phoenix
layer, and not re-use or change the Hbase level thread pools.
