If you really want to continue without install anything, just create
/Applications/Utilities/X11.app directory can be sufficient to make
the check test lie, but it doesn't make sense to install my package
without install X11, since OpenOffice.org on Mac OSX means
"OpenOffice.org + X11".
I installed the X11SDK from the Tiger
installation disk.
X11SDK = headers + stuff for devel around X11
X11User = the graphical server + other applications, so what is needed
( same for XDarwin )
I attempted to install the Apple X11 from the Apple
Developer site and found that I could not due to the installation of the
above SDK.
I don't understand : if you use *correct versions* of X11User and
X11SDK, they can be installed in every order, and no problem can
occur... The best install order is : install X11User, then X11SDK. So,
looks like you have here to deinstall the sdk first, install X11 (or
XDarwin) and reinstall X11SDK.
If this does not work, it's simply because you're simply mixing
X11User and X11SDK versions. This can not work, IMHO.
In such situation, and as a workaround, you can rename
/Libraries/Receipts/X11SDK , but it's an uggly workaround and I wonder
why you are using such versions...

Successful installation. Tried the program and it is quick and snappy.
I decided to open an OOo 1.x text document and resave it in OOo 2.x
format.
I like it. More testing to follow.
