I have created a personal patch to solve the problem at the time of OOo
1.1.2 using Osaka font.
I'm aware, thank you for this issue.
My change for OOo installer is as follows (This is the same patch sent
to Eric a few days ago).
Yes, but I have a last min problem with 1.1.5rc4 and I prefer see all
problems fixed. Probably in a future cws.
Sorry for the delay, but I'm very busy these days.
1. Put fondu to /Applications/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/program/ in order to
extract Mac OS X's fonts with post install script.
Note that binary version of fondu (040925) has a bug, so need to use
the one from source (041222).
I'm thinking to this too since some times, but my problem is : are we ok
with fondu and all fonts licences ?
2. Apply patch to
/Applications/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/share/registry/data/org/openoffice/
VCL.xcu to use Osaka font for ja-jp.
This could be directly included in a cws.
3. Apply patch to custom.css in /Applications/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/help/ja
4. Apply patch for
/Applications/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/OOo_Admin.app/Contents/Resources/
Scripts/main.scpt to extract Mac OS X fonts using fondu into
/Applications/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/share/fonts/truetype.
I just added the issue #54535. This should solve the installer's
Mojibake, and enable to use relatively high quality font for Japanese
editing.
Thank you very much for your contribution. For now, 1.1.5 packages are
not uploaded, just waiting for a solution.
Regards,
eric bachard
