I have TrueType Courier 12 installed both my Home library folder and main HD library folder, but it doesn't seem to be rendered properly (compared with Font Book and by visual inspection; looks blocky and scrawny and uncharacteristically Courier) in Mac OOo 2.0 build 1.3.8 (or any build I tried). I've done the Fondu route six times and thrown copies of Courier into every font library on my system, but no go. Can someone take this babe in the woods by the hand and walk me down the command line procedures (I used to have an Amiga so I'm used to using CLIs) to confirm whether Mac OOo actually sees and loads the proper font (even though it shows up in the font menu) and if not how can I properly get it to, or is this just the way Courier 12 is rendered on Mac OOo. I'll shoot you screenshots if required.

Thanks for the swift e-mails! Setting the editing screen status bar at 80% or above seems to do the trick at rendering Courier 12 properly. 75% ought be a red-flagged setting! I'll increase my screen rez to 1280x960 to compensate!
Thanks for the assist!
