Thanks for the swift e-mails! Setting the editing screen status bar
at 80% or above seems to do the trick at rendering Courier 12
properly. 75% ought be a red-flagged setting! I'll increase my
screen rez to 1280x960 to compensate!

My point was you make do with what you have. Not to cause a tiff
between NeO and OOo. I respect both camps. If there's a noticeable
disparity with the display of particular fonts between them it will
be in the developer's queue sooner or later via feedback. Adjusting
screen resolution is just my makeshift mend until it's attended to.
Works well enough for me.
