I haven't done any OSX development, but in older MAC OS versions there
used to be an API to locate a folder for storing preferences. (FWIW:
Later MS Windows added a similar API)
I'd be surprised if something similar doesn't exist on OSX any more. If
there is such an API, I believe that osl_getConfigDir should be adapted
to use this API rather than any hard-coded path.
