the RC2 Build en_US release test has been finished and status on wiki has been updated accordingly.
is the en_GB build official in this sense?

Yes, why not?
Because I only get it from Pavel Janik's build pages and I am never certain how official they are.

(Well, I need to update the status page and add more languages, I know :-( )
Becaseu even without testing it. I can point out a couple of strange and wrong things about it ...
Are there issues filed for those things? And .. are they important enough to stop a (global) release?

No, and no. But I will file issues (where?) against them. I suspect they may apply to some oof the other builds in that series. Specifically, the default language for new documents is set to en_US, which rather defeats the point of localisation; and the set of dictionaries supplied is thoroughly eccentric and over-writes previous customisation. I have nothing against Estonian or Slovak, but I can't see why my British English word porcessor should come with dicitonaries for those languages and not the most up to date version of the British English dictionary.
