Sophie made the statement that there is no tests for Base, and I have pointed out there are no tests that run through the functionality of Calc except opening files and writing two classes of files.

I've found that there are folks out 'here' that are willing to work through a given set of tests, even if they are manually run. I found a problem with OpenOffice 2.0.1rc5 with Euro conversions on OpenDocument formatted spreadsheets which is now fixed with 2.0.2rc4. This is an example of where one person can and will help validate the existing manual smoketests and can add to them.
