hallo all,
i proudly present the new qa pages* as addition to the dba area - they
contain (or will contain in future time) sections for different kinds of
testcases and everything around this - the main idea behind it is to
center the qa of structured manual testing in this point, make it better
overviewable and shareable for better quality of oo.
please support this project - the project contain many roles, from
database beginners to specialists, from some minutes sparetime to ... we
search for people from the community (not only oo qa): writing,
reviewing and executing testcases (translate testcases). the results
will be inputted into the tcm tool (bugtracking tool) after the process
is cleared (comming soon).
advantages for you, oo and the community:
- improve you technical knowledge and your technical writing talent (it
is also a job qualification with open source work ;)
- share your knowledge about special databases, drivers etc. or support them
- assure that your system still work properly with the new installed
server, driver, oo version etc.
- check how special parts can impact your running business or future
system plans
- have an overview over the bugs in specific area
- write new testcases that you ever missed or give suggestions in the
'todo' area to more and more complete it
- you can also use testcases as templates for bug writing
- fill boring sparetime with sensful work
- and you can support the community and give them back what you benefit from
- maybe you also get smarter, nicer and happier :)
