As one of the team leads for testing, the Base tests need to be redone and
incorporate
what Chris has proposed. We definately need to have testing done through the
ODBC
and JDBC connectors into the Base product and also for OpenOffice.org. I ran
into
a situation where a user connecting to a remote MySQL database through the
JDBC could not retrieve data. This was not true on a local machine nor through
the
biblio product.

Might I suggest an issue for this? I think that the code should be Enhancement
or Task.

Mine are secondary. This project is in progress and looks very good. Howwever
it
needs to also be tracked through TCM and appropriate test cases generated.
