I just installed the linux m176 with the French language pack on it and
I must confirm that some menu items in Calc are in English. The other
applications are ok.
What I see in English:
Fichier -> Envoyer -> E-mail as OpenDocument Spreadsheet...
Fichier -> Envoyer -> E-mail as Microsoft Excel
Édition -> Modifications -> Record
Édition -> Modifications -> Show...
Édition -> Modifications -> Accept or Reject...
all items under Édition -> Remplir
all items under Édition -> Feuille
all items under Édition -> Supprimer le saut manuel
Édition -> Links...
all items under Insertion -> Saut manuel
Insertion -> Cells...
Insertion -> Sheet...
Insertion -> Sheet from File...
all items under Insertion -> Noms
Format -> Cells...
all items under Format -> Ligne
all items under Format -> Colonne
all items under Format -> Feuille
all items under Format -> Zones d'impression
all items under Format -> Ancre
all items under Outils -> Protection
Données -> Define Range...
Données -> Select Range...
all items under Données -> Pilote de données

Btw, the English build is installed in /opt/ooo-dev2.0 but the French
language pack in /opt/openoffice.org2.0 and the files from there need to
be copied/moved to /opt/ooo-dev2.0 in order to get the French GUI - is
this intentional?

I'm very sorry but I cannot reproduce what you've seen. I've checked
this on Windows using the French languagepack that I uploaded to
oootranslation.services. After installation I started the application
once, modified the GUI language in /tools/options/language
settings/languages to French and then restarted the application as
adviced. Afterwards all menu enties and dialogs were localized in
French. I've checked writer, calc, impress, draw, and math.
