The torrents are autmoatically generated as soon as the builds hit the
mirror.
No announcements are made whatsoever.

Wrong, It is distributed on the mirrors already. Just because the server
you picked is not up-to-date doesn't mean the rest is behind as well..

Not the torrent's fault, nor fault of the distribution network. Not the
