Hi,
while testing OOo 2.1 for mac one of our testers came across a possible
data loss in Writer. In fact the problem is really old and has been
already reported. See:

As stated in the issues, this is expected bahaviour, as the table
autoformat applies a number style to the cells. If this happens to a
cell that has normal text content, the content is replaced by 0. In fact
the content is lost.
Following our issue guidelines this would be a P2 - at the other hand
only few users seem to come across this problem and I don't like to
reopen as P2.
Does anybody have an idea how to proceed with this issue?
