My experience - to check if I am the only one here:

using the testtool environment I used pretty much successfully on 2.0x for the slovenian version, I can not make work on 2.1 (00E680_m6 Build 1) XP version. It tries (three times in succession) to open an empty document (and succeeds in doing it) but it strikes out on the command SetClipboard "The first doc!", reporting a failure:

Application "C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org 2.1\program\soffice.exe" cannot be started.

/*What we got here is a failure to communicate*/

Possibly I do not have the latest version of testtool (680m50 BUILD:8800 (c) 1995-/*2004*/ (italics smo) Sun Microsystems Inc)

Hi James:

No problem. At least I will not persevere - I had tough hours with 2.1 and testtool last night, asking myself eventually "what have you been testing, 2.1? Testtool? Or yourself?" So ... I guess Ill just hammer away at the other testtool cases, hoping for an issue to pop up.

"Release early and often"

Thanks btw

And to add to your misery, there is a new version of testtool in development. I'm trying to get the current version working on the Mac Intel platform. It stopped working between versions 2.0.3 and 2.0.4. Anyone have the list of milestone builds between these two releases or know where I can find such a list?

Hi Maho-san: Thanks for the information!

I'm doing all of the things below already - already finding my way around the bazaar;) - . My immediate concern at the moment is getting testtool work for Slovenian build and do the TCM tests. By then it will be January 07 and 2.2 and Vista etc.

Back to radio silence;)

Id volunteer. I am probably in the lower/lowest part of the learning curve, so would need some tutoring.
Thanks Vito!!
Maybe the first step is:
watching http://planet.go-oo.org/
and what happens in OOo community.
Entries like ``IssueZilla - New issues'' are important, and our target. So many issues per day, at first, just only give a glance might be tough ;) Yes soooo many issues are reported by community members.
