Hi, > Staging repos is here[1], please check.
There’s a lot of files here and it’s hard to know what exactly to review - that may make it a little more difficult for the IPMC review. > BTW, do we need copy all files in [1] to dist/dev? No please don't do that. Unless any other mentors or PPMC disagree I’d suggest the following: 1) Canceling this vote. 2) Preferably fixing the README and incubating site branding issues. While not required right not sometimes these think have a tendency to slip off teh radar. If it’s decided not to fix please raise a JIRA so it’s not forgotten about. 3) Creating a single convince binary that contains LICENSE, NOTICE, DISCLAIMER, README and the binary artefacts. That way it’s easy to review by us and the IPMC. 4) Calling a new vote. This is only my suggestion, you are free to ignore it, and if anyone thinks differently just say so and I’ll go ahead and review the current release. Why I’m suggesting this is that I’m not 100% certain that this release would pass IPMC review as the binary artefacts where made after the vote was called - it may be hard to show they match the released source code. Again anyone have a different opinion? I still think it's likely to pass, but if it doesn’t we have to make another release candidate and vote on it. I’d also suggest when starting the vote again (or for the next release) please make a discussion thread so this vote thread doesn’t become polluted with discussion about the release artifacts. Thanks, Justin
