Yes, I do. I wrote several bug reports, but after my bug report
discussing some of these topics was declared a *duplicate* of 7500
which I found unacceptible, I started a QA discussion which ended with
the suggestion of the German QA lead to discuss this here to get
things going, possibly start the creation of a specification paper etc.
I thought, you read my comments, but it seems you interpreted it in a
way I had not in mind.
What I have already said, is that most of your isses might be seen as a
defect from a users pov. But OOo is designed to behave this way. Do not
allow copy & paste from merged cells into merged cells, as this might
become a complex operation.
So my guess was, that the current code cannot cover all of those
operations (may it isn't even specified what possibilities we need to
cover). It's obvious, that OOo needs to be enhanced for such a
functiionality .. and that's what issue 7500 is about.
I suggested to discuss this problem here at the list, to see, if it is
possible to speed up implementation of issue 7500. Or maybe look for a
way to get at least some "trivial" operations implemented. (e.g. Copy
and paste between merged cells that have exactly the same structure).
But I cannot tell, what operations are "trivial" to implement and what not.
