Hello team!

To go along with our launch of SMX5, I've been working hard on (1)
rebranding our image and (2) revamping our website. We have an extremely
powerful product, but in my daily work with customers I notice we get
undervalued due to our old-fashioned and outdated website.

With regards to (1), I felt that the emblem in SMX logo was already a
masterpiece, so I didn't touch it (asked Lukasz Dywicki for the vector
graphics). However, the type/font could do with a more modern look. Gert
also suggested to somehow include the Apache feather in the logo.

So after several iterations I combined both ideas and overlaid it on grey
background - which I think could be part of our color palette for the new
website (white background variations also planned). Please find attached
the result and let me know what you think ;-) The attributes I was going
for are: elegant, modern, sleek.

Concerning (2), I suggest that we go in the direction of the Apache Mesos
[1] site and embrace Middleman [2] as a static site generator, incl.
Twitter Bootstrap, Sass, and all those fancy frontend frameworks of the
current age ;-) I've been experimenting with the toolset and it's powerful,
yet simple enough to author content with our beloved Markdown syntax!

I'm working on a prototype of the website, which I will push to GitHub and
post here for us to collaborate on.

For now, I'll be happy to get some feedback about the logo.
