Over the weekend the JIRA I created for the infrastructure team [1] was 
updated and there was an email to the dev list notifying us of a commit to 
our releases folder, so I think we are ready to starting using that.

Reading the infrastructure team's page on releases [2] we should now be 
able to check in our release artifacts to the Shindig releases repository 
[3] and they should be copied immediately over to the master Apache 
distribution site [4].

I believe we also need the signature(s) for the release artifacts.  Henry, 
was it you or Paul, or both, who signed 2.5 beta 1?  We would need a KEYS 
file with the signature information to be checked into the Shindig 
releases repository as well.

Log into people.a.o and use wget :)

FYI, the old releases should go up for only the time required for them to 
be mirrored at archive.apache.org.  Only the most recent release should be 
in dist.
