Hi Dileepa, I think this makes sense. Similar to self registered users (previous mail) a user that comes with WebId or OpenId would get an account and be assigned a Role (roaming-user role). Additionally to that there could be a mechanism assigning permissions based on social-network distance.
A first step might be to add an optional URI field in the user manager, this URI would be the WebID/OpenID the user can use as an optional log-in mechanism.
