I would prefer to see it as you first mentioned..."struts".  And yes, I
would be one of the first to help iron out the kinks.  I would love to see
thing structured such that we can move forward with all the items previously
mentioned (separate release for components, taglibs, extensions, etc).

I'm still a bit apprehensive about Maven, but I am slowly coming around ;)
The work I am doing over in resources is helping.  Any news on a 1.0 of
Maven?
