We had good luck with Jalopy, though sometimes it would touch files that it didn't need to. Overall we've had good not being too formal with the style and then once in a while (maybe 3-6 months) someone would run the IDEA reformat on the entire codebase.
I think the important theme should be to minimize how much work developers are required to do. From day-to-day development, I tend to not use maven/ant builds. So I think it is important to me to either: 1) Use a code style I am used to ;) 2) Configure IDEA to format the code on check-in. I think asking developers to run _two_ tasks on every check-in is a bit much. Perhaps we can set up a process where we just do that every X weeks, or the end of the month? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted via Jive Forums http://forums.opensymphony.com/thread.jspa?threadID=14802&messageID=29756#29756 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
