And the future implementation of OOo's "extended text fields" will
probably use the same approach. Oliver Specht has already done some
coding for an improved input field, so perhaps it might make sense to
ask him about details.

>From all what I see coming along I'm happy that we will have a dedicated
citation field. This is not due to implementation issues but due to the
fact that it's always good to have an exact specification about what you
are going to do.
