It's also not very high on my personal priority list. But the same
discussion could happen in another context again and I wanted to make
clear that if people are interested to cooperate with OOo they
can't use
dbus until someone has developed a bridge between UNO and dbus. That's
true for citations as well as for any other service providers we might
talk about in the future.
Ahem, yes, I know, developers in general seem not to care about the
edu and research market; it seems the only organization that has
actually *delivered* decent citation support is MS ;-)
So the question is how we can best make this happen given the
resource constraints all around?
I really don't want to get in the middle of some OOo vs. KOffice
conflict here. Any suggestions on how best to move this along
productively? My colleague David Wilson has posted the requirements
he sees (though I've had time to look at them in depth), and I've
noted that ZOOM may well provide a ready made API complete with
freely available code.
