I think they all look fantastic. My untrained eye likes the features of 3 and 4 but I completely defer to the judgements of others here since I have no training in design and the multitude of considerations involved such as scalability.
I believe the logo trademark is an official requirement of the ASF ( http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs.html#graphics), although I don't know how strict this is.
