We plan to use the svn logs to capture legacy releases. These will be 
correlated with both the voluntary reporting on projects.apache.org and 
voluntary DOAP files. This is a huge task.

ATR is adding the same after feedback in the Alpha phase. We now have both a 
revision number and a tag for each iteration of a Release Candidates artifacts. 
These are templated into email bodies and with email subject a current to do.
