   There's another problem: if the release manager changes the vote duration in 
the form, the substituted value needs to change. But if the release manager has 
also edited the message body already, we no longer know where the substituted 
value is, because it's now custom and not using the template.
   
   To fix this, we would have to keep a record of the state of the message body 
value. If it has been modified, the vote duration can no longer be changed. The 
documentation of the vote duration would have to change to say "The vote 
duration cannot be changed because the message body has been customised." There 
should also be a "Discard changes" button when the message body value is in 
modified state, restoring it to the templated version. This would free up the 
vote duration to be changed again.
