There is an option '-u' for dmake.

 OPTIONS
-u Force an unconditional update. (ie. do everything that would be
done if everything that a target depended on was out of date)

I have heard/read this before.

Please refrain from using 'dmake -u'.

'dmake -u' will break some pre-done works which has been already
done by the release engineers and included in the source tar balls.

i.e. use 'dmake killobj' and 'dmake,' instead.
