I believe it'd be good to talk with Legal and/or Trademark early on to get an opinion on a few things and then later put a prominent note on that on our website.
One of those things impacts us as a company so we'd like to get it sorted out. We have material that we can donate (no problem there) but want to use it as well later on when it's Apache licensed. How exactly can we do that and especially how can we market it and refer to it? Someone else talked about "certifications" in the VOTE thread. I put them as "out of scope" in the Proposal but that doesn't mean it can't change. Would we want to/could we even offer such a thing? What does it mean to be certified? Are there more issues to discuss with them? If no one jumps on this I'll ping the trademark@ list end of next week.
