I have written two macros to extend key short cut assignments for Writer. AltKeyHandler: allows for Alt key assignments. It uses an alternative user interface assigning key shortcuts which I find more intuitive (but then I wrote it). KeyHandler: allows for key sequences for key shortcuts. The user interface is less intuitive but it was a quick hack of AltKeyHandler so was easy to implement. The macros are in .sxw files (I wrote them before 1.9.x and haven't updated them), available from: http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/hillview/OOo/ I don't have strong views on what key sequences should do what, but I definitely think that OOo should have more possible key sequences to assign to commands than it currently does. I would be quite happy for these macros to become redundant.
