Peter Klügl commented on UIMA-2560:
-----------------------------------
I did a manual mvn install now and the resulting jar (runtime) looks fine:
inlined jars and mentions in the manifest. However, when I launch an Eclipse
Application and open the CDE, I get java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/apache/uima/util/InvalidXMLException, which is the common indicator that
the runtime plugin is empty or its content is not resolvable.
Does that work for you? This is the situation where I stopped my last testing:
It does not work for a launched Eclipse 3.7.2, but when the plugins are
installed, it works just fine.
So, my guess would be that there is no difference between the indigo update
site m2e and the m2e of the website concernign this problem.

> Recent versions of Eclipse m2e complain about Maven plugins in the UIMA
> master pom not being covered by m2e lifecycle plugins:
> * uima-build-helper-maven-plugin
> * maven-dependency-plugin
> Add m2e metadata to the master POM to handle these.
