[website-dev] Validation of CSS and HTML

Perhaps I missed the discussion on this?  But neither the HTML nor the 
CSS validates, though the "validates" graphics are present?

Is this something that was intended to be "cleaned up" after the design 
was approved?  None of the errors are insurmountable, but there are 26 
of them.
