Okay... You know of course that OOo site supports javascript and
it is used heavily by quite a few pages? These include the
download pages.
Yes I know, however I asked for a repository of code, for
example the CSS is embeded in the template so new users don't
have to re-code the interface of OOo Site.
If we have a repository of code for Javascript we in theory
provide more tools for webdevelopers across the project.
We have a "repository" but for now it only has the tables
decoration script in it...
the location is
"/branding/scripts"
Can you provide a URL to this script, I think we should make it
part of the website.openoffice.org menu.
Okay. Kay or Christian, do you want to do that, or shall I?
Beside styling do we have something more data-driven. Like
counters, randomizers, generators, tickers etc?
Not that I know of, though it's possible someone in the NLC
communities has something like that. Why don't you ask?
I think we should involve the project leaders to give us feedback
on what could they need. Also native-lang should be interested in
promoting this initiative so we can re-use scripts done on some of
the international projects.
Agreed. Do you want to drive this, Alexandro?
:-)
Cheers,
Louis
