I'm against using Javascript widely on the site. Basically I'm against
using Javascript in general on OOo. Unfortunately this is the only
technology we can use to build an easy to use (and more important: easy
to maintain) download-page) :-(

Again: I'd love to see the sites getting along without javascript.

While I guess some image-randomizer can be handy in some circumstances,
I vote against suggesting javascript for broad usage on the main pages.
