I might be nitpicking, but I still think "System Requirements" and
"Release Notes" should go as close together as possible.

And the language-part still is not 100% accurate (but still OK) - the
QA-status page doesn't list the status of the language-packs, but the
status of the full-download-sets in the corresponding language.

So I'd suggest to change "You can view the status of language packs by
visiting the <link>Localization QA</link> page." to "You can view the
status of localized versions by visiting the <link>Localisation
Status</link> page."

Apart from that, the site is "ready to go" in my opinion.

I did - I have the old page in one tab, the proposal in another one. I
switch between them and observe the difference...

I guess so, but here the difference is very noticable - you don't need
to count pixels to spot a difference ;-)

Regarding vertical space, the current one is nearly identical to the
proposal with the latest revision.
