Let's try it on the download.ooo page and reconsider this

Shrug. Looking at the data, it doesn't matter too much where it is
located,
It? Are we talking about the element inviting people to download
the snpashot/RC builds?
All 3 pages (homepage, download central and stable download page
for most recent build) are among our most often visited pages. To
me this says we should think where and how we can place links to
download/680 on all these pages.
Yes. That is my point: that limiting the link to just the download
page is not as desirable as putting it on the homepage, though the
data suggest that having it on the download page is not bad--for a
start. I'd rather have it on the homepage, too.
though if we use
http://website.openoffice.org/tryouts/murb/download6/index.html
The development page link is not that visible and is under "other
versions," though I'd rather it were under "Developer Build".
Other versions doesn't immediately lead to "developer build".
IMO a new section and new text for the link to the unstable
download page (download/680) on the stable download page is good step.
But we should go further and advertise the instable builds more
prominent on the home page and download central.
I think so too, but you were previously arguing to add the homepage
later ;-)
