a bit of info on the Mozilla site and its technology.
I did a wget on the index file and related js files. One of them seems
to be a reference to something called Urchin...a fairly sophisticated
and involved bit of client JS which does most of the magic for creating
the nifty download button you see at that site.
This software is NOT free, and since I didn't see an actual reference to
an API or anything of that sort at the Urchin site, I'm assuming the
talented moz folks took something that was provided and extensively
modified it.
Therefore, IF we wanted to do something like this, we could I guess
purchase an Urchin license to install on some DL server (could be the
main server but Collabnet doesn't allow messing with this much), though
this *might* be waste since we wouldn't be using a lot of the
functionality I guess.
HLH but not very helpful! :/
