Inelegant, but... May be significantly simpler to just exec ant in a new
process, to avoid wrestling with sensitivities to the environment's current
directory. May also be worth moving the full Ant invocation into a separate
POM, or otherwise making it not run by default during normal build – just run
smoketest, or minitest, unless actually shipping the beast.
Complication: If we want the test results included in the source bundle, this
test needs to execute before package phase.
