it is justifiable IMO. But "not" in the current config approach.

What we should have is more a "plugin" layered config and runtime scenario, that
allows us to encapsulate these kind of things easier.

Thing of Apache's module API, with hooks for the various "pre-defined" event
handlers and the association of the config structure to the module.

This leads us to design road map of Kannel 2.x. Which would be a great talk
topic for any Kannel group meeting on the GSMA Mobile World in Barcelona. ;)
