A better way of documenting this might also be helpful, and would guide
paring down the default services. I like much of the GNOME desktop, but
I prefer Awesome to GNOME's window manager construct. Sometimes I find
it difficult to piece together the services I need (e.g., to support
Bluetooth or the ability to run gnome-control-center) while replacing
other GNOME parts with Awesome.

As with Hans, I happily acknowledge that I am not the common use case. I
just think that there might be ways to make things feel a little more
modular.
