think the path of least resistance here is for me to add Provides in
addition to the Obsoletes, so we don't have to run around trying to
drop the dependencies all over the place to fix uninstallable
packages after beta freeze. That should do the trick.
Done.
So, with Provides in place, there should now be almost no impact on
user experience as the change is transparent. EXCEPT: you do need to
install glycin-thumbnailer to replace gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer. I've
added that package to gnome-desktop group in comps. However, I suspect
other spins may also have been relying on this thumbnailer. This should
be the only thing you need to do in order to ensure users don't notice
the change.
