Hi all,
While working on branching, Wenoticed a small set of package
repositories that appear to have no commits at all. These repositories
seem to have been created with “no initial git commit” and were never
populated.
Because of this, branches such as rawhide do not exist and operations
against the repos fail with errors like:
fatal: Not a valid object name rawhide
The following packages currently fall into this category:
ardour9
gaim-otr
httpcomponents-core4
ntetris
python3.11-testpath-epel
python3.11-tomli-w-epel
python38-hvac
python38-netaddr
python38-ntlm-auth-epel
python38-pynetbox
python38-requests_ntlm-epel
python-epel-rpm-macros
python-yubikey-manager
tetex
themonospot
v2strip
xorg-x11-drv-i810
We will also be contacting the maintainers directly. If you maintain
(or know of plans to maintain) any of these packages, please speak up.
Unless there is a reason to keep them, the intent is to retire
repositories that have never contained any packaging content.
Many of the listed packages have content on EPEL branches. If you retire them,
make sure to only do it on rawhide.
