Recently a PR [2] which I submitted years ago to hunspell has been merged. This PR should allow to generate the .idx file by command line in the RPM build process. My plan was to switch back to LO sources if that works, but I haven't had time to look at that, yet. I don't have objections to consolidate the sources for Italian.
