Key Discussion Points (courtesy of Bot Aurelien):

bootc Images

* An error requiring Fedora-release-common was encountered while building bootc images. * The recommended solution is to use fedora-eln-release instead of fedora-release-container, as ELN does not have separate variants like Fedora Container.

Python 3.15

* The Python 3.15 update has mostly landed in ELN, with some cleanup still in progress.
* This will be the version of Python that RHEL 11 branches with.

Hyperscale Kernel

* Prarit Bhargava (Red Hat) was contacted regarding the Hyperscale kernel configuration issue and was expected to follow up with the kernel team, but there have been no updates.

OpenSSL 4 Migration

* The transition to OpenSSL 4 is planned for next week, starting with a side-tag build.
* A compatibility package for OpenSSL 3 will be provided.
* Much of the ELN package set has already been successfully tested against OpenSSL 4 in a COPR.

ELNBuildSync

* The ELNBuildSync tool will be moved to Fedora Infrastructure hosting soon, with a deployment to staging this week and production next week (subject to Flock).

Next Meeting

* The meeting for next week is canceled due to the Flock conference. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 12:00 EDT.

Action Items

* jligon: To investigate using fedora-eln-release to fix the dependency error in the bootc image build. * yselkowitz: To contact Prarit Bhargava to follow up on the Hyperscale kernel configuration issue.
