Hi,
thank you, that would be helpful, as I'm not a provenpackager myself.

I agree, I'll prepare what will be needed, after the Fesco approves the
change (I'd like to get it in rawhide as soon as possible, to have more
time for testing for early adopters, but I need to wait for the
approval first).
I'd use the provenpackager power only if the respective maintainers
won't have time to step up, of course.

Correct, patches are ready or already included in the respective
upstreams.
Apart of those directly using libical the rebuild of those depending on
it in runtime will be needed too (plenty of the packages, see the
proposal). it's because some do not mention it, but still use it (I
noticed evolution builds with libical-glib, but does not have it in the
.spec, it takes it through the evolution-data-server "for free").

Right, the kf5-kcalendarcore is orphaned already, similar to many other
kf5 packages.
The kdepimlibs has the last successful build in koji for f43. Both f44
and f45 mass rebuild attempts failed. It BuildRequires kdelibs4-devel,
which is already orphaned. I consider the kdepimlibs package
effectively gone.
The redwax-tool failed to build in the f45 mass rebuild. The logs from
the mass rebuild are already gone, thus I tried a scratch build [1],
and it fails due to OpenSSL changes. I did not check the upstream,
maybe they have a fix for it, maybe not. Once that is fixed, a fix for
libical 4.x could be possible, I just do not feel like fixing both
OpenSSL (about which I know nothing) and libical 4.x (where I can
help).
Thanks and bye,
Milan
