Hi,
the FESCo approved [1] the Change [2], thus I created a side tag
`f46-build-side-158330` into which I built the new libical and I'm
slowly (re)building the dependencies I've commit right for from the
list of the dependencies [3] in the Change, which is not as that many
as I'd hope for.
Michel Lind offered to help with the rebuilds. Thank you for that.
At the end of this email [5] is the list of the packages in a build-
order. It might not be accurate, as some deps are transitive and some
build dependencies are propagated through plain Requires (like I just
build gnome-bluetooth, which does not BuildRequire bluez, but without
it built first I cannot build gnome-shell), but on a glance look it
looks pretty close otherwise. The packages tagged with `*` are those I
will take care of myself (apart of `cyrus-imapd`, about which I talk to
the maintainer directly). The packages tagged with `!` have dependency
problems already, namely blogilo and kdepimlibs still have KDE4/KF5
BuildRequires that current rawhide no longer provides (kf5-* and
pkgconfig(QJson)). kuser also build-depends on kdepimlibs.
As expected, `fedpkg build --target f46-build-side-158330` builds into
the side tag. I use `Rebuild for libical 4.x` as a commit message.
As "a tracking bug" can be used the existing bug #2458837 [4]. I'll
update this thread once all the rebuilds are done and a rawhide update
is filled.
