Ok I have some more information to report.

It looks like there is a direct relation to the txpower and the time of how
long it takes the links to become ESTAB with Authsae

I have performed some tests with txpowers "iw dev mesh set txpower fixed
100 - 2000 and noticed that if the txpower is reduced so the
db is below -45 for all units they can connect with out any issue. If I
take a unit and put it in the middle so the db goes to -32 or stronger then
only random units ESTAB. I think the errors I show below are from the
radio resetting from the transmit power being to much. (not sure it thats
true or not) but I can now recreate the issue at will.

Also I noticed it takes approx. 5-10 seconds for the authentication to
occur per node.

IE i watch the authentication from node 1 and see node 2/3/4 connect in
LISTEN state then Node 2 goes ESTAB and Node 3/4 are still LISTEN then Node
3 goes ESTAB and 4 is in LISTEN mode then Node 4 ESTAB last. This order is
not the same every time but to show there is about a 5 to 10 second time
between actual connections.

Does this sound like anything anyone else has seen?

Please let me know if you would like me to perform any tests since I have a
6 node mesh to do what ever.
