Salam, I am also working on a web-application (PHP based) that looks like launchpad.
Pootle is not a very accepted solution, since it is very slow and store all the data in Pootle server. I already finished most of the behavioral and architectural design of my application, and managed it so that it allows mutual exchange between a PO database and MySQL database from one side, and later from PO database to a CVS or SVN repository (the translators changes affected the MySQL, which later synchronises itself with the PO database, while new terms are sent from the latter to the former in order to be translated). Why don't we unify our efforts?
