Hi all, Actually I already compeleted the support, and approved using SDLPango, this my second game to add bidi and complex language support, I did one before using fribidi2, depending on the community preferences, the problem with sdlpango, is dependency problems, that make porting to other plateforms harder and block some plateforms like Beos, but pango support wider range of languages, like indic languages that contains common shaping problem in arabic, fribidi2 support shaping for arabic only but is amazing for porting.
