That's in most cases, I suspect, not a problem where the problem is clearly in or adjacent to a known street in urban, or rural, areas. But once you're into rights of way that are NOT indicated on the mapping (though are on the Definitive Maps other than some of the metropolitan areas like Inner London (it was optional for them, so they didn't do it, or the OS mapping), and way off the road network it becomes a challenge. It was something she mentioned - possibly 'cos it was the first time, and I'd asked her if there was anything that could be improved and thus short-circuiting the footer! Grid references are certainly the most helpful, tho' a link to a 'bigger picture' map useful, for public rights of way, adopted highway, ancient alleys and courts ....
